COIN has been engaged in a number of community projects impacting K-12 STEM education, community broadband planning and implementation, and veteran employment projects, all related to our mission to grow the STEM community in North Carolina. As part of this program, we also have contributed to the TriGig Initiative and are working on new ones like NC Connex and Jobenomics NC. The Center coordinates half- and full-day conferences where influential speakers cover a wide range of topics to meet our mission. Prior COIN sponsored conferences included topics such as advanced manufacturing, intellectual property, big data and much more.
